The Leverage June 27: You are seated with Christ

Ephesians 2:6“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 3:1-3 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Vs 2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Vs 3  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

When God raised Jesus Christ from death, He raised us up together with Him. That’s one of the spices of the Finished Works of Jesus Christ in His substitutionary work for humanity. Man sinned against God in the Garden of Eden. The wages of sin is death. The penalty of man’s sin is death. Man fell from dignity to reproach and shame. Man must die for his sin. He needed a substitute to die in his stead, or else he must die. Death is separation from God and all that comes from Him for sustenance.
Man’s substitute must be man, because it was man that sinned, and it is man that must be punished for sin. But all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, so who then will bear man’s sin amongst men? Another sinner cannot bear the sin of man. Man needed an impeccable substitute. The Word of God, who in the beginning was God, and by whom all things were made, came into the world and was incarnated, the Word was made flesh, and we call Him Jesus Christ – the righteous and holy Son of God. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came to reinstate us to dignity and honour.
When Jesus died on the Cross, it was our death that He died, seeing He is our Substitute; and when He was raised from death, it was our resurrection. Therefore our opening Scripture tells us that God has raised us up together with Jesus Christ, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That’s dominion, isn’t it? We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above everything and every name that is mentioned in this world and in that which is to come. Therefore, everyone in Christ has been given dominion in the Name of Jesus Christ. We exercise dominion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark 16:17 tells us that we shall cast out devils in the Name of Jesus Christ, and we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Beloved, you have been dignified in Christ. You are no longer in the low places of life. You are seated in heavenly place in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above every name that is mentioned in this world and in that which is to come. I reign with Christ in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
