The Leverage June 24: Take What Rightfully Belongs to You in Christ
Beloved, there are blessings and graces that are rightfully yours in Christ. You are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. God has blessed you with so much to be a blessing to your world. Today, there are many Christians who are groping in darkness; walking in ignorance of the numerous blessings God has blessed them with in Christ. Psalms 82:5-7 is a profound Scripture that shows the devastation of ignorance: “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”
God had said unto all in Christ Jesus, You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. Galatians 3:26 tells us that we are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Ignorance is the reason gods die like men and fall like one of the princes. Ignorance of who we are in Christ and our privileges makes dwarfs of Christians, and causes children of God to live like children of men. God has blessed us with too much to be broke, poor and beggarly. God has invested too much into us in redemption to be living from hand to mouth, and to not be a blessing to our world. But we must come to the light of our rights and privileges in Christ to be able to reach our God-given goal.
How do I come into the knowledge of my rights and privileges in Christ, you might ask? Well, the answer is not far-fetched. Here is the answer, 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 tells us how: “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” The ministry of the Holy Spirit in us through personal study of the Word, and through anointed teachers of the Word, brings us into the knowledge of the things that God has freely given unto us. As you come across these things in the Word revealed by the Spirit, go ahead and take them by faith. Don’t take explanation from the world for why some people are blessed and others are not. Just go ahead and manifest the blessing. Hallelujah!
