Prayer Lends You God’s Helping Hand
Hebrews 4:16
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
John 15:5
Prayer is a privilege to receive free help from God. If you are facing any limitation in your natural walk, through prayer you can bring the power of God to bear upon that situation, and it will be turned around for your good. To the man who understands prayer, and who knows how to pray, there’s no limitation; because he understands how to collaborate with heaven. He knows how to get into partnership with the God with whom there’s no impossibility. That’s the privilege that prayer offers us – partnership with the big God of heaven and earth.
Beloved, without God we can do nothing. The Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15:5 “…for without me ye can do nothing.” This means everything that you can ever do without God is summed up as nothing. It is Christ in us that is the hope of glory. It is God in and at work in us that makes the difference. 1 John 4:4 says “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” .
Little wonder 2 Corinthians 4:7 tells us “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” The excellency of power and of sufficiency will always be of God, and not of us. Therefore we pray to access the all-sufficiency of God for our sufficiency in all things, because He is our sufficiency. The Word tells us that we are not sufficient to think anything as of ourselves; for our sufficiency is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5). Through prayer, we have the divine privilege to enjoy the all sufficiency of God.
My Solid Front (Confession) : In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I have come into partnership with the Omnipotent God, therefore nothing is impossible to me. As I use the privilege I have in prayer, naturally difficult and impossible situations bow to me. Amen.
