Put Him first

Its beautiful week and we bless God for his mercies. Over the past few weeks have seen God in action and have come to learn that in whatever situation we find ourselves in, he is present and would use such situation for my good.

I was reading a Christian novel recently and I learnt the importance of putting God first in every relationship or marriage. The wife in the novel was a councilor who counseled people about their own marriages but neglected hers. In the process her husband got another woman pregnant and she had to relocate to America. God had to tell her to return to Nigeria to help her husband retrace his steps. On getting back she realized that the mistress had taken full control of her house. She had to move somewhere with her children where one of them was raped. All in all she kept praying to God though it was not easy. She got her man back after it was discovered that he was jazzed.

At a point she almost gave up but with God by her side she was able to conquer. There are so many lessons in this book. Firstly, you should not take your partner for granted, always make out time for them.  We should also learn to prayer cloth our spouses from any external force. Also there is the place of Godly friends who can pray along with you in your time of difficulty.

My charge to you is to look upward because your help cometh from above. God is still in the business of turning bad situations to good. God bless you
