Goof Morning Great Minds,
December 8  Mind  Set #1:

The scripture 1 John 3:20-21 says that if your heart condemns you, you won’t have boldness, you won’t have authority, and you won’t be able to access what belongs to you. If your heart condemns you as a result of the sin in your life, it will affect what you receive. Even your prayers will be affected. Your relationship with God will be affected. You will live in fear, doubt, and unbelief. You will even doubt whether God will bless you. There will be no assurance that what you are standing in faith for will happen. You will find out that you are   inadequate and that you are imperfect. You will also discover that you won’t be able to rebuke the devil, because he will highlight all the things you have done wrong and bombard your mind with them. So it is very important that you know how to break the bondage of sin over your life.

Indeed, 1 Corinthians 15:56 says that the strength of sin is the law, so where there is no law there is no sin. But as long as there is law, sin is empowered and sin abounds. Romans 3:19  says, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” This scripture shows us that not everyone is under the law. Knowledge of sin comes from the law. So how do we break the dominion of sin? The answer is simple: by living above the law. How do we live above the law? By living consciously by grace. Understand and settle it in your heart that Christ came and fulfilled the law. He freed us from the bondage of the law. So why do we do what we do? we act out of love for God. We always act to please anyone we love.

So what should I do if I want to take away sin? Remove the law! That is why Jesus came (1 John 3:5). He was manifested to take away sin. Jesus has paid the full price for sin; your part is to receive His gift and walk in the fullness of the victory wrought by Christ Jesus over sin and all its manifestations
